Chris O’Ferrell is the Senior Director of Cultivation at Deep Roots Harvest, where he directs all horticulture efforts at the Nevada-based, vertically integrated cannabis company. He oversees all cultivation staff and is responsible for the compliance and profitability of all Deep Roots Harvest growing, harvesting and packaging operations.

O’Ferrell is an experienced cultivation expert certified in Metrc and skilled in operations and people management, as well as facility planning and design, project management, and other leadership skills.

Before taking on his new role, O’Ferrell has had a long career in cannabis cultivation and operations, previously serving as Director of Cultivation for Curaleaf in Ohio and as Head Grower at EnviroGrow. He also was a horticulturist at Native Roots Cannabis Co. in Colorado and developed and instructed courses at the Cleveland School of Cannabis. He is a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served two overseas deployments with the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines.
