
Dr. Shouhua Wang
Plant Pathologist, Nevada Department of Agriculture
Shouhua Wang is a plant pathologist at the Nevada Department of Agriculture and a lead scientist for the state plant pathology and molecular diagnostics laboratory. He earned a Ph.D. in both agricultural science and biomedical sciences, and he has 30 years of research, teaching, and diagnostic experience. Dr. Wang authored more than 100 publications, including refereed articles, first reports, and books. The most recent publication is the book “Diagnosing Hemp and Cannabis Crop Diseases,” published by the Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International. He brings research expertise and life science technologies into the plant health diagnostics to provide science-based services to clients, including hemp and cannabis growers.
